William Vaughn

William Vaughn has been entertaining readers for decades, writing over a dozen books leveraging his trademarked dry wit and tongue-in-cheek style. Over the years he’s earned a reputation as a great storyteller, and after considerable encouragement, he’s written and published three exciting new fantasy fiction novels included in The Seldith Chronicles: The Owl Wrangler, Guardians of the Sacred Seven and Quest for The Truth. More recently he's published three volumes of The Timkers a New Adult time-travel adventure series. Based on personal experience raising two daughters and being “Grandpa” to two granddaughters, The Seldith Chronicles is full of the challenges faced by most kids' growing up—lessons. When asked where he’s from, Bill tells folks that he’s been all over the world, and he has. Second son of a dad in the military, Bill went to kindergarten in Wiesbaden, Germany, where he learned German, elementary school in Alexandria, Virginia where he learned his first southern accent, grade school in El Paso, Texas where he learned Spanish, and high school in Bangkok, Thailand where he returned speaking Thai—just before being sent to Vietnam where he learned to keep his head down while flying helicopters for the US Army. In semi-retirement, Bill likes to take pictures and cruise the Alaska inside passage looking for Seldith.
