Wolf Wickham was born in Jersey City and grew up in the suburban towns around Bergen County New Jersey, living for a time in Bennington Vermont as a boy. He dropped out of Palisades Park high school at age 16, earned a G.E.D. from the state, and never looked back.
Wolf holds an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and the equivalent of another in Police Science. He received his B.A. in Sociology from Thomas Edison State College of New Jersey and studied for a Master’s degree in the Humanities from California State University. He is a police academy graduate and a distinguished pistol expert, having worked mostly in the field of protective services in New Jersey, Florida, Texas, and Colorado, and occasionally in law enforcement.
Wolf has held a wide variety of occupations: armed store detective, private investigator, police officer, deputy sheriff, alcohol and drug abuse counselor, short order cook, interstate trucker, Texas Realtor, land commission agent, car salesman, builder, executive security manager, federal armed guard contractor for the Federal Protective Service, notary public, vice-chairman of a regional Red Cross chapter, and a FEMA trained Emergency Manager—among others.
Known as Thomas John Wickham before a nickname became his legal name, Wolf has been a free spirit all his life, and for a time was a biker in the Texas hill country below Fort Worth. He had a reputation as a good cop during the few years he served the public sector in that capacity as a level one sheriff’s deputy and police officer, both active and reserve, for several different jurisdictions in southern Colorado.
Wolf Wickham is the founder and CEO of Colorado based Intelligence Resources LLC, whose trademark is “The Power of Knowledge.”
