I have been travelling to Germany for around 30 years now, my mother in law was German, it is however to Munich and Bavaria that my heart really belongs. we have been visiting this area for over 15 years years and have experienced this beautiful city at all times of the year.

i began writing at the suggestion of friends after having lead many family and friends around the area and also hosted business trips for friends. i write about what i have really experienced, these are not guide books based upon what the tourist board says or what is found on websites such as Wikipedia, it is true first hand knowledge.

We have lived in Munich for short periods of time and have the true "insiders" knowledge of the city. we understand the customs and traditions and aim to bring this to my readers.
