“Shiiiit. Cade weighs a lot. Way more than I thought!” I moaned/sang.”
“Shame weighs a lot more than flesh and bone.”
“I weigh more than I used to. I've been eating a lot of fast food, so I must have put on some muscle—without even working out!”
“I took the easy way, and to an extent I regret that. Still, though, the way we did it was honest. We played it and sang it the way we felt it, and there's a lot to be said for that.”
“Not this again,” I moaned. “Jonathon, there are more important things in this world than me.” He looked thoughtful. “You’re right,” he said and I thought I might finally be getting through to him. He continued, “Chocolate gelato,” he grinned.”
“Parked in the school lot, I grab their two backpacks, which I swear weigh more than they do, get out, and open the back door like a chauffeur. Who am I kidding? Not like a chauffeur. I am a chauffeur. No one moves.”
