“So what about that key?" I asked."I knew you'd be asking me about it sooner or later." He pulled the cord out from underneath his shirt and dangled the key in front of me."What do you want for it?" I sneered. "Five dollars?""I don't want money," he said with a wicked grin."What does it go to?""A kiss will unlock more than this key will," he whispered in my ear.”

“So what did you want to talk about?" I ask Ty grins that wicked smile of his again. He whispers, "I lied. I just wanted an excuse to sit with you.”

“Lord Jesus,' Christy whispered, 'I want You to hold the key. I want You to decide what should happen in my heart's garden. I want You to let in or send out anything or anybody You want. Especially with guys. I don't want to ever unlock that gate again. I want you to open it only when the right man comes along. Take the key, Lord. Take all my keys. I'll wait for you.”

“I want the key", he said. "The key to the universe. To life. To the future and the past. To love and hate. Truth. God. It's there. Inside of us. In the genome. The answer to every question. If I can find it. That's what I want," he finished, softly. "I want the key.”
