“It can’t be that bad. I have to try it.”I bit back a mad grin. I was so not going to stop her.“Uh, Ash, I really wouldn’t suggest doing that,” Daemon began.Party pooper, I thought, but Ash was a determined little alien.”
“Ash twisted toward Daemon, her cheeks flushed. “I can’t believe you’re allowing him to do this. Next thing we know, you’ll be dating a human.”Daemon busted out laughing. “Yeah, not going to happen.”
“I keep smiling, giving Ash a little wink before turning around. Daemon stood there with two cups, one eyebrow arched. "Bad little Kitten," he murmured.Grinning, I stretch up and kissed him.”
“Ash is going to kick your ass, Daemon."Daemon's grin went up a notch. "Nah, she likes my ass too much for that.”
“I was a total fail next to Ash, but Daemon said something about me wearing his clothes that sent blood rushing to every part of my body and I didn't care if I looked like a hunchback next to her.”
“It took me about a half an hour to weasel Daemon away from my mom.Maybe I wouldn’t have to worry about her and Will. Maybe I needed to worry about her and Daemon. Cougar.”
“I grinned at Daemon and held up a bulb that was so green it almost matched his eyes. I decided it was going to be his bulb.”
