“It's not enough just to laugh at good fortune and say, 'Enough already.' You have to really mean it -- that you have enough. And because you mean it, you take the surplus and you give it away. Similarly, when bad fortune comes, you bear it until it becomes unbearable -- your family is hungry, or you can no longer function in your work. And then again you say, 'Enough already,' and you change something. You move; you change careers; you let your spouse make all the decisions. Something. You don't endure the unendurable.”
“There comes a moment in life when you say to yourself – enough. This is ENOUGH! Then – you take a walk with your destiny. To change. To fulfill your purpose. We all have it. But are you willing to take that first step?”
“Sometimes if you want something badly enough, you can make it happen. If you miss someone so desperately that it wrecks your insides, you say their name over and over until you conjure then. It's called sympathetic magic and you just have to believe in it to make it work.”
“You can only afford to be generous if you actually have some money in the bank to give. In the same way, if your only source of love and meaning is your spouse, then anytime he or she fails you, it will not just cause grief but a psychological cataclysm. If, however, you know something of the work of the Spirit in your life, you have enough love "in the bank" to be generous to your spouse even when you are not getting much affection or kindness at the moment.”
“When you don't think you can feel is when you learn you can smile until it hurts, and love until you're too scared to say it, because you need someone who loves you enough to look you in the eyes and say, 'You're beautiful the way you are It'll be ok. You're worth something.' because sometimes you forget. It's easier to believe when they say it. If you believe, it means that they matter to you. You want to bare your soul to them. Give them everything it takes to let you fall, and pray to God that they are there to catch you.”
“The fact that you already have it all within you doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go to school, learn your craft, read books, or go to workshops. Just remember that all you’re really doing is using other people and things to remind you of what you already know. And you don’t have to wait until you know “enough” before you go for it and become successful.”
