“আমাকে কেউ বোঝাইতে পারলে না যি সেই দ্যাশটো আমি মোসলমান বলেই আমার দ্যাশ আর এই দ্যাশটি আমার লয় । আমাকে আরো বোঝাইতে পারলে না যি ছেলেমেয়ে আর জায়গায় গেয়েছে বলে আমাকেও সিখানে যেতে হবে । আমার সোয়ামি গেলে আর আমি কি করব ? আমি আর আমার সোয়ামী তো একটি মানুষ লয় , আলেদা মানুষ। খুবই আপন মানুষ, জানের মানুষ , কিন্তুক আলেদা মানুষ ।”

“চাঁদের কি জানি কি অসুখ হয়েছে সেও আজ আসেনি।আর আমি ঘুমকে ঘুম পাড়িয়ে জেগে আছি তোমার অপেক্ষায়।আমি জানি তুমি আসবে,”
